New Club Shirts Available
Last chance to order shirts this year will be at the Northwestern game.
Come “dressed for success” at future Club events! We have arranged with Audrey Ann Williams here in The Villages to make new Club polo shirts for those of you who noted the ones we had made a few years ago. The shirts bear the Club's logo over the left chest area, and are a great quality Egyptian cotton from Outer Banks. They are available in either White or Red, and the ladies shirts have a very stylish 6-button placket.
George Hurn will have sample size shirts at a table during each game day, so bring your checkbooks. We do encourage you to try on the samples-- these better shirts tend to run a bit larger than the ones we previously ordered, and they also launder much better.
Polo shirt prices are $25 (the XXL size is $27). Your order includes a $3/shirt donation back to the endowed scholarship fund. Orders should be delivered back to you within 2 weeks on game days. For those of you who already ordered at the picnic in July, your shirts will be available at the first game.

University of Michigan game watch party
The Tri-County Ohio State University Alumni Club is preparing for their annual University of Michigan game watch party at 11 AM on November 22nd at the Hacienda Hills Bar & Grill on Morse Boulevard. The Club is currently selling tickets for attendance at this special event to Club members and guests only. Hacienda Hills Bar & Grill will be closed Saturday, November 22nd, 10 AM-4 PM, to all except valid paid ticket holders!
OSU Alumni Club officers will provide all game party attendees with special game souvenirs at the door. They will also conduct a scholarship-raising raffle for prizes, including items autographed by Coach Jim Tressel and OSU's legendary coach, Woody Hayes. Come join us on November 22nd, and watch the OSU Buckeyes battle the UM Wolverines in college football's greatest rivalry.
All OSU fans may join the club and purchase Michigan game party tickets at this Saturday's Illinois game watch event at Hacienda Hills (12 PM Kickoff).

Annual Club Dues Are Now Overdue!
We have now sent your membership renewal notices for 2008-09 via email and/or regular mail. Our “dues year” now runs from each September through August of the following year.
Please contact Donna Smith at 750-9823, if you have not yet paid your 2008-09 dues! You must be current paid-up members to buy tickets to attend the Michigan game party. If you have not paid your dues by mid-November, you will be removed from the club’s active email/mailing list.
Our Endowed Scholarship “100 for $100 Campaign”
As of late October, we have now funded $39,500 of our $50,000 goal for an endowed scholarship in Tri-County OSU Alumni Club’s name. Your individual donations, and your participation in our weekly raffles, have been instrumental in our achieving this level. Give yourselves a hand for your support and generosity!
We’re within “striking distance” of our goal now, so we are kicking off our “100 for $100 Campaign”. Simply stated, if the fund received gifts of $100 each from 100 donations, we would be right at the threshold of our goal! Remember, any donation you may make to the endowed scholarship fund counts toward your President’s Club or other elite gift membership status at OSU.
The Board encourages you to give any and all OSU donations (regardless of the amount) to our Club Endowed Scholarship Fund (#480596) until we reach our $50K goal. Members/couples who donate $1,000 or more (collectively) to the fund by February 2012 will be tendered a lifetime membership (dues free) in the Tri-County OSU Alumni Club.
To make donations by check (include the fund number on the check), please send your gift to:

Michigan Game Party for November 22, 2008
We will be holding the annual Michigan Game Watch Party at Hacienda Hills Bar & Grill. However, you must have a ticket ($5/person) to attend that day. Donna Smith (750-9823) is selling tickets now for the party. You may buy tickets for houseguests who reside outside our Tri-County area. Less than 50 tickets are still available, so get yours before they are gone!!
The Club has reserved Hacienda for our exclusive use that day (with some minor exceptions to which we agreed). Russ Masters will notify all members via email the week before the game of the door opening time (the game time is still unannounced).
We will be taking tickets and passing out your game souvenirs at the door, so please do not enter until you have checked in with our OSU greeters(s) at the front door. You will be able to order food and beverages from the full menu, and we will have special prize raffles at halftime.
